Hello Everyone!

Well I got Leopard installed on my Powerbook G4 1.0GHz (FW800) and love it! Much faster than Tiger on my computer. Biggest improvement is spotlight.

But... I do have an issue with Disk Utility. I was having issues after archive and install from 10.4.10 and tried to rebuild permissions. When I did it, it hangs. It looks like it is working but nothing happens, even after 20 minutes. So I wiped the drive and did a fresh install. But I'm still having this problem. Anyone else? Maybe a few ideas I can try?

Other than that I have had no issues with Leopard!

yeah, repair permissions sits for a very long time, and I'm on a MBP C2D w/ 2GB RAM and a 5200 RPM HD. Unless someone else posts otherwise, I'll assume this is the default behavior (which drags ass, btw).

Your system is older, so try leaving it for longer than 20 minutes.
