Bitcasa debuts new cloud storage service aimed at developers
Cloud storage company Bitcasa has
announced a new service aimed at application developers, called Bitcasa CloudFS Platform. Allowing developers to create file sharing, file management, media transcoding and encryption technology, the platform enables this without the need for composing complex code. Bitcasa CloudFS features client-side encryption, as well as a "Turn-key Drive" intended for creating one's own branded cloud service without requiring up-front infrastructural investments. Officially available later this spring, developers can sign up now to be a part of their beta testing.
