My first Powerbook arrived few days back I am in the process of setting up things. I understand that iSync is one fabulous app. Do I need to have .Mac to use that? I already have a DSL with SBC Yahoo.

Please let me know

No, iSync syncs .Mac data like your bookmarks and addressbook with the .Mac servers. If you want to do that, .Mac is required, but iSync can also sync data with iPods, PDAs, cell phones, for which .Mac is not required.
