I'm trying to recall (and find) the web site that lists all the various active Apple products and the time between upgrades, along with the buying recs. Cannot find it, for the life of me.

Can anyone help? I'm hoping that Apple introduces upgraded laptops next week ...

Mac Buyer's Guide (MacRumors)

9th September there is an Apple conference believed to be for the iPods. New laptops could come then but as you know, nobody knows when an update will come except Apple.

Thanks! According to the site, it's dead on, nearly, in terms of days since update.

If no new laptops are forthcoming next week, it might be time to just bite the bullet and buy, anyway. I'll be replacing an original 12-inch PowerBook, purchased in February of '03. It is seriously showing its age.

haha can imagine, but i'd seriously wait, nigh on every poster believes there will be an update this month.... I agree with them, if not this month there should definitely be an update by October 31st.

Too many rumours and most importantly an important new Intel chip that will possibly boost the RAM to 8GB for the Pro laptop, so i'd urge you to wait, unless your PowerBooks dying...and even then, survive any way you can!
