How come it takes apple so long to ship out an iBook? I know its coming from Taiwan but I really can't wait for it. I ordeed an 14" 933 G4, 256mb ram, 60gig hd, combo drive, and airport extreme.... How long did it take the rest of you guys to recieve your iBooks? Mine is suppose to ship on or before 1/22/04, and I ordered it friday

It takes longer if you custom order it because they ship it from Taiwan to somewhere in the US where is customized than shipped to you. Atleast thats what the Apple guy told me when I asked them about my late 2001

Mine was custom and shipped straight from taiwan... I don't know how long it took because i had to wait for christmas anyway though.

now that it finally shipped out on the 20th taiwan time...it is taking fedex 2-3 days to ship it from taiwan to the US. then its going to take fedex who knows how long to ship it from their sorting facility to my destination...starting to think it might have been easier to order it from the apple store
