I was recently greeted with the smell of burnt plastic and found out that the 50 mm fan on my G4/400 with a GigaDesign 1.2 GHz upgrade had stopped.

The heatsink was burning hot, I was happy that the computer had not caught fire (bad for the house...) and that the CPU was not dead.

It is a 50x50x10mm fan and that is a odd size, I need a absolutly dependeable fan as I do not want to have the house on fire and I prefer if I can run it 24/7 for F@H

Any suggestions?
I have found a Titan 50x50x10 and a ADDA (panasonic) 50x50x15 that ought to work.
I do want to avoid those that keel over and those that sound like a dentist drill
