I think my ideal bag would be something with the hard polished stainless steel/aluminum exterior, but the casual ease of a messenger bag. Still has not been invented yet, but the Samsonite bags by Phillippe Starck:

come very, very close to my aesthetic ideal of the perfect Ti or general purpose bag.

Until then, I am using a lowly caselogic neoprene sleeve inside of a Manhattan Portage messenger bag.</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Is it just me, or does that look like a purse? Maybe DKNY? I think my wife has this purse...

Sometimes when I'm in a hurry or just want to go light I'll just throw my PB in this computer sleeve by Coach:

<a href="http://www.coach.com/shop/product_befree.asp?product_no=4435&category_id=123 &show_bc=1&base_index=0&sort_by_price=false" target="_blank">http://www.coach.com/shop/product_befree.asp?product_no=4435&category_id=123 &show_bc=1&base_index=0&sort_by_price=false</a>

<img src="http://www.coach.com/assets/product_images/drilldown2/6435_d2.jpg" alt=" - " />

It's only $68 and fits the PBG4 perfectly. (The image even has the Tibook as the display laptop.)

I just recieved my Timbuk2 G4 Sleeve and it is such a great product! Very sturdy! Took it to the pool with me yesterday, and while using computer, my brother and sister got water on it, just wiped off. No muss no fuss! Highly recommend this product to anyone intersted in buying a good laptop sleeve! As mentioned before in this topic, there is a sale going on @ timbuk2.com with a discount added at the end by using this link ( <a href="http://www.timbuk2.com/discount.html)" target="_blank">http://www.timbuk2.com/discount.html)</a> If you do end up getting one of the sleeves, put my email down ([email protected]) as who sent you it and I'll get stuff back! spread the word!

I use the titanium2 Backpack by brenthaven. You can get it on apple's web site. It was a bit pricey at 179$ but its an excellent bag. I did a lot of research before buying it. I will post pics later. This thing has so many compartments. I use it to carry the following:

TiBook800
IPOD 10GB & Earbud headphones.
TiBook Power suppy & cable.
IPOD Powersuppy & cable.
Kensington Security Cable.
RIM Blackberry Pager (957)
Gameboy advance and 10 games.
Keys.
Compaq iPaq 3835
Flash memory cards (3)
Cell Phone (nextel) w/ extra batt.
Compaq iPaq Keyboard
Loose change
Ipaq Dual PCCARD SLEEVE
Notepad
Small book.
Checkbook.
Contact Lenses
Digital Camera power supply and usb cable
IPAQ AUTOSYNC CABLE.

I recommend this bag to people who have a tibook and a lot of expensive accessories. This thing is made of military grade nylon. It's not that attractive, but very very protective. I have no worries if it were dropped on the floor. My only worrie is that all of my expensive stuff is in one easity stealable place! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

One place. Do a search for Vanguard computer cases for others.

Well, I just got my PB G4 so I'm still using the tote I used for my Windoze P100. However, I'm looking very seriously at this bag for my TiBook:

<a href="http://dillonprecision.com/template/p.cfm?maj=9&min=0&dyn=1&" target="_blank">http://dillonprecision.com/template/p.cfm?maj=9&min=0&dyn=1&</a>

Will fit my PB G4 and my new Glock 33 quite nicely, methinks

This is by far the best computer bag I've ever used. And it's all for under $100. It's made for skateboarders but it has more useful features and is more versitile than any bag I've used. Check out the 'functions' animations on their site. I don't know where to buy them however. The bag is called the REVOLVER.

I use a Travelpro business combo/napsack/briefcase. It's probably one of the toughest bags you can get. It has a sleve where the computer is sorta "suspended" in mid air; much like the Brenthaven titanium. Only I think this pack is much more versatile. It was really expensive (329$ Can) but I got an incredible deal on it (173$). The nice part about this bag ( on top of giving great protection is it has plenty of storage and that fact that you can turn it into a back pack in meer seconds rocks too. I would highly recommend for someone looking into the titanium to also look at these bags. <a href="http://www.travelpro.com/Business%20Collection/busexpexecomputr.html" target="_blank"> Travelpro business class </a>

Unfortunately, I think my exact model has been discontinued...I'm not sure from looking at the site if the newer ones have as nice a sleeve. Instead of the brenthaven type one you have one that can also be used as a bag. Still a nice case.

Found it! <a href="http://luggagemall.com/catalog//business_collection_page.php" target="_blank"> This seems to be the best deal IMO </a>
