I have managed to install 10.1.5 in a 7500 with a 200 Mhz 604E CPU as well as in a 7600 with Sonnet G3/350. However the small 2 GB SCSI HDs are very crammed. Now I got a Sonnet IDE card and a 10 GB IDE drive retired from a G4/400. But no matter how I tried with Xpostfacto 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 the installer refuses to even try installing 10.0, it just boots back in 9.1
I have tried both computers and get the same result. I have also tried with the SCSI drive dissconnected and only the IDE drive if X is more picky with termination.
Is it possible with carbon copy cloner to copy a a OS X and get a viable system on the other HD?

Carbon Copy Cloner will make a bootable copy. Give it a shot.

No matter how I tried carbon copy refused to accept my admin password!
Now I reformatted the HD with the disktools in 9.1 as oppsed to in X (with journaling of). Now 10.2 seems to install, I hope it will reboot

You have to be logged into your admin account for CCC to work. It won't work from a user account.
I hope it boots for you.
