Anyone know/care about this? The rally is this weekend, but the festivities begin tomorrow. A bunch of rides from all over the country came into town today - it was pretty neat to be walking to class and see a couple packs of about 50 Harleys cruise down Wisconsin Ave.

The parade is on Saturday and should be quite the show. Rumor has it that Schwarzenegger, Al Pacino, and Jay Leno are going to be leading the parade.

One of my roommates has a Harley (he's also related to the Harley family of Harley Davidson), so this 100th anniversary is all he's been talking about for the past month. Needless to say he's way more excited about this weekend than I, but I still think it's pretty cool.

Yeah.

We had a weekend of official Harley festivities here in Hamburg last week of July.

Some 3000 bikers and nearly HALF A MILLION Harley fans were here - right outside my front door - partying for three days. The whole Reeperbahn is dotted with those circular burn-out tracks. The Harley CEO is on record as saying that the celebration in Hamburg will be very, very hard to top.

I spent the weekend out in the country, which was a good idea from what my friends who were here tell me - the district where I live (St. Pauli) has never been as crowded as it was that weekend.

Can someone explain the (derogatory?) term "Drippy"? Is it a Harley oil drippage thing?
