Looking for some advice on this....

I have a one week old 2GHz dualie with the 9800XT and the rest is stock. I have put a Raptor and extra 2 gig of Crucial RAM in it aswell.

My query is that the PCI Slot Fan always runs above 100% according to Hardware Monitor. Apple are prepared to refund or replace it but of course there is a wait on the delivery of a new machine! I refused a repair point blank. Nothing assures me that the replacement wont do the same as I have seen a few other mentions around various boards of the speed being above 100%. The machine is fine except for this.

What I want to know is what is your PCI Slot Fan speed based upon your configuration? This way I can see if mine is 'normal' or otherwise. However, I believe a fan running at 100+% is a bit odd. The others don't.

Please post your speeds so I can see.

Mine is also 107% in Hardware Monitor But Dead Silent so Im not going to worry it has been SILENT since July so no worries here...
