Hi folks. So my linksys wireless router died tonight. I'm thinking I might try and exchange it for something else when I take it back tomorrow. I have one wired PC, one wired mac G3, and a wireless powerbook so I need something that can handle all of that. Do the apple basestations have wired ports? Its a simple question but I haven't been able to find the info on apple.

The APe base stations have two (2) 10/100 Base-T ethernet jacks.

One for the WAN, and one for your private LAN.

So, yes, they do. You might want a ethernet hub if have more than one computer to connect to it though.

Hmm not good enough. I need two lan ports. The whole point of buying a router/hub/base station is to provide for all my needs. Don't want multiple devices. Thanks for the info!

The NetGear MR814 is a fantastic wireless router. It has four ethernet jacks to connect more computers. Setup is very easy and wireless range is quite good.
