Anyone know if these games ever made it over to the mac. I'd really like to go through and play them. Starting talking to some people about them and it made me feel nostalgic for some old school games.

Yes both games made it to the Macintosh.

I've seen themnn floating around on a torrent so they're out there. I hear you'll need an oldschool Mac to run them though. Not sure how oldschool

Graeme Devine, who did the port for 7th Guest back in the days, once said he make a port for OS X but then Devine disappeared off the face of the Earth after leaving iD.

haha. I remember those games. I can still play the theme from the 7th guest on the piano thanks to that one stupid puzzle where you had to type in the notes!

I played 7th Guest that was great....however the one after that I thought was even better...forgot the name but it was 6 CDs....something where your in Germany and a mob is attacking you and there are a bunch of werewolfs.

Ok that's what it was Gabriel Knight.

But I think you'll have better luck trying to get Phantasmagoria to work. That one wasn't too shabby either..my wife really liked it.

Knof8,

I have 7th Guest, and Gabriel Knight II- THe Beast Within, if you are interested in either of them. I would let them go for next to nothing.

you really should see the doctor about that, and for the love of God, stop licking the dog's butt!
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.
