9.0.4 and Conflict Catcher 8.0.7

Was running 9.0.4 (as an 8.6 updated system folder) with CC8.0.7, no problem. Was forced to do a clean install of 9.0.4 and now CC is a nightmare and is currently disabled. I can't remember what parts of the OS I had disabled for faster running in the old set-up. Does anybody know what specifically in 9.0.4, CC has a problem with before I spend days working it out by hand. You can't do an easy conflict check if CC's the thing that's conflicting!!! 
I've already been to the C&G fora and they're barely conceding that there's a problem at all, but read through and you'll see a lot of people with SERIOUS problems!!!

Sorry, but I'm not one of those people. I use CC on dozens of 9.0. Macs and haven't seen this.
Clean install/merge is a tricky bit. I'd install a Clean OS 9.0.4 with all updates and then add CC.

CC is a principal aid for me with 9.0.4 and no problems.
In addition to the 9.0.4 clean install, I'd remove all traces of CC and reinstall it as well.

I agree with Scott and WDL. I'm running 9.04 with CC on four computers with not a single hitch. Remove all of the CC stuff on your HD, do the clean install and then reinstall CC.

I'm so glad you guys don't have any problems but would you mind checking which version you're running 8.0.6 or 8.0.7 also check the version number of carbonlib. Thanks.
Also this is an iMac not a B&W or a G4!

iMac here with CC 8.0.7, CarbonLib 1.0.4, and OS 9.04. The two times I had problems with CC, deleting and reinstalling cleared everything up.

I'm using an iMac 350 with 9.04 and CC 8.0.7 not 8.0.6 which had some waeknesses that 8.0.7
corrected. My carbonlib is 1.0.1 though, and I don't have OS X on the HD.

I have a G4/500 running 9.0.4 with CC 8.0.7 and CarbonLib 1.0.4 and have not had any problems with CC. Can you look in your previous system folder and see what you had disabled before you did the clean install?

Aside from loadsa G4's and BW/G3's, I am running on various flavors of iMacs - all on 9.0.4 and CC 8.0.7.
Trash all of the pref's and components, then re-install.
Are you using an 8.0.7 installer or an earlier version with the 8.0.7 updater?
If the latter, remove all CC stuff and re-install. Then, BEFORE rebooting, install the 8.0.7 update.
