Ever since installing Mac OS 9, the mouse pointer has been extremely jiumpy during heavy disk access, almost to the point of unusability. I never had this problem under Mac OS 8.6.

I have a Blue and White G3/350/DVD with an additional 10GB Maxtor drive installed. Could this be related to the problem?

I've noticed this while using my Lombard. Seems to happen when it's trying to do lots of things at once.

I also have a b/w 350, and I have experienced the same problem. Rebooting is the only solution, far as I can tell.
