Wow, that's great. How did you capture this movie? It's amazing in quality and frame rate.

I'd assume he captured it with his company's program (see his sig)

Yah, just taking some movies as part of the beta testing process; figured some people might find them interesting.

Fixed it, sorry about that -- one of my minions deleted the files by accident

Does anyone (or moki) know why i can't record the widget flip on my quartz extreme compatible iMac G4.

I can see it fine on the computer but movies don't record it.

You need to port that office chair game (Forget the name) to OS X.

Assuming you are using Snapz Pro X, check the "Smoother (but more CPU intensive) video capture" checkbox on the movie palette (you may have to click on the disclosure triangle to see it).

Wasn't that Harry the Handsome Executive or something? I know the game you're talking about though, and yeah, that was a sweet game.

Snapz Pro X is the best! I use it for all my screen shots... even Windows. (If I need a Windows screen shot I just use VPC and Snapz Pro X) Working in Quick Time is the best.

[Edit] Nevermind: Noticed the manual was updated. For anyone experiencing crashes, H.264 is bad to save with.

Don't understand the "Pro" in the name, like there is a consumer version as well?
Is there still no sound recording in the program, so video only?

We've been working with Apple on this -- it appears to be a bug in their codec. Other applications that use it will crash as well (such as Sorenson Squeeze).

Looks like Apple has a work-around for H.264:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301632

...turning off the keyframe in theory fixes it for Keynote. We tested this with Snapz Pro X, and it seems to do the trick. I hope they fix the codec properly soon though.
