Ever since the Tiger update, I get this on both my powerbook and my desktop mac, and only once I've used Tabs.

Would anyone know what this is ?
Whatever Tiger ready theme I use, I get this.

This is happening because you've somehow set Safari to use a Unified toolbar. Safari most definitely does not like using a unified toolbar.

And how do I set Safari NOT to use a unified toolbar (or to use one, for that matter)?

It's a haxie called Unifier (an ape) and does NOT fix Safari, for me, with SS. Turned of unify and still have odd buttons.

There are a bunch of ways to make Safari use a unified toolbar. You can edit the nib file, and there are a bunch of different utilities and walk-throughs on the web.
