I need a streaming server for DJ'ing to a website a la NiceCast, but with on the fly transcoding from mp3, m4a, and AIFF to ogg vorbis. Something that can use other apps, like iTunes or DJ 1800. VLC can transcode to ogg vorbis, but it doesn't integrate with other apps like NiceCast.

I should state that I am an utter n00b when it comes to this network DJ stuff. I was invited to DJ at an online event, and I couldn't do it with my Mac. All the other DJ's used PC's.

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

- Powerbook G4 17" 1.5 GHz, OS X 10.3.9

Any takers? Or is this yet another arena where I need to run Windows? At this rate I may buy a PC.

So, there's nothing? Or lack of apps for OS X doesn't matter anymore. Just boot Windows, right?
