Probably because these have been out for quite awhile in .png format which is quite usable in OS X through a variety of icon programs.

Authors generally release icons in .png format so they can be resized or whatnot and used on all systems..... Win, Lin and Ten.
Obviously a redistribution would require permission from the original author.

Thanks for the great set of icons! I love them. Is there any way you are taking requests, or will you give out the .psd to create our own custom icons? I would love some for Safari, Pixadex, Butler, iCal... all sorts of stuff. Or do you take requests? *sheepish grin*

ah, nice icons there.

and thanks for doing the proper OS X distro as well... i know you can get the PNG versions of alot of different icons, but i'm not a big fan of having to stuff around to get a usable OS X version.. so thanks for going to all the trouble.
