LutetiumGUI 0.9 will be released later today (the 4th Dec) and will be available in four flavours: Basic, Suite and Complete. Basic containing just the theme, Suite containing the theme, wallpapers and cursors in the guiKit, and the Complete including preview icons from Lutetium Metem, a variety of wallpapers and the Suite guiKit. The fourth flavour is the Winnie WindowBlinds port, which has lots of app skins and yadda yadda.

If this is a beta (sounds like it), can I ever get on the testing team? I've never really seen any good shots of this one like I want to. Soooooooocan I be a tester?

If it's a public release, disregard the above.

Just to make it clear, esXXI is making luGUI.9 the public release, it is no longer a beta, so you'll be able to have it on your desktop sans asking to get on the team

If you click the link in his signature you will see that his site is currently down for a few days whilst he upgrades the version, it is now quater past 12 on my clock and I'm in england. shame I was looking forward to it, he better not be doing one of those suspense things, they are irratating as hell. An update on info would be nice right about now.

I can understand that feeling, acronym16.

Let's give him some time... I guess we know that he's been rather caught up with personal matters of late. Might be something that has cropped up again that delayed the release.

It's always good to be understanding, and give the benefit of the doubt as to what might be happening behind the scenes.

[personal PR person to esXXI] The man is asleep, he should be waking up shortly, the reason in the delay is not Rick himself but rather he is awaiting the final packaging of the windows port (done by the great, bzeitler), the port is near completeion and is being packaged now. So I am sure that once esXXI wakes up (which should be soon) he'll release the thing. The front page to VanillaSoap is down, but the blogs/hosting capability of the site is still running meaning you wil still be able to DL the various luGUI versions from that site. Not to mention we all know he meant "night" as in Pacific time (GMT-8), so give the man some time ;D. [/personal PR person to esXXI]
