I jumped onto the latest iPod touch update (long, long overdue), but I wanted to check here on some of the finer details.

From all appearances, the much-advertised bluetooth headset pairing only works with iPod touch units that are 2.0 and later? I have a 1st gen, and there's no option under the "General" menu for bluetooth.

That's kind of unfortunate, please confirm if this is the case (I've been looking all over google but without any direct hit referring to the iPod touch 1.0 and bluetooth).

The 1st gen didn't have BT hardware, so I think you're stuck unless you upgrade.

Thanks for the confirmation.

It isn't something that's going to make me throw down $200 today, but nonetheless, a minor disappointment.
