Nice. Will have to d/l as soon as I get home. Took a quick break from dark themes after using eXec as soon as SS2 came out, but looks as if I'm going back in. Thanks.

hey looks alright.
is it possible to have a glow on the text? or just maybe the manubar text... it just seems like it needs something ... 'else'?
oh, any fullscreen pics of this?

I've been looking into adding glow to the text not to sure on how to accompish this yet but it is planned I have lot of ideas for this theme but it's going to require a lot of time so i released it like it is to make sure there was interest in such a theme didn't want to waste my time.
As far a full screenshot click below althought I don't think any preview pic does it justice as you can't see the LED effects in action for example button pushed states and titlebar widgets checkboxes radio boxes Apple menu and Async thingies (can't remember what there called lol) to name a few have glowing pushed and/or rollover states.
It also makes a hell of a difference when the extra menu extras are installed if the take look at the synergy buttons in the screenshot it looks really cool when all your menu extras have that metalic look and i already started adding the glow effect to menu extras in the same way the iChat extra already does.

I don't think anyone mentioned this, but with a few color changes (orange and yellow text), this might be the start of a nice LCARS-esque theme for us Star Trek fans...
Or am I totally off-base here?

Followup to my earlier message. After a very brief experiment, I abandoned the idea of using Dark Rising as an LCARS theme. The menu bar is perfect, but the window design is... well, not to my taste (isn't that always the way?). I guess we'll have to continue to wait...
