Romeo has gone nuts on my computer. It says that my phone is out of reach even if the phone is next to the computer and it doesn't show up in the dock even if I have specified in the prefs that it needs to show up in the dock.

OH sure! I get a thread lock trying to find out about Palm compatibility (meanwhile getting flamed by a conceited 'tard), and people get a 3-page thread about major third-party apps? WTF? Long time user here, gettin' riled up.
OK, so anyway, thanks for the info.

Stuffit Standard 9 isn't working at all for me in Tiger. I go to unstuff a file and the app opens and then quickly closes.
Bummer.
I have soo many files that I need to use Stuffit with. I don't get it, Apple used to include it in the OS, so you could archive and unarchive files! I can't sit around waiting weeks for Stuffit to update...

So, has anyone tried to run Virtual PC (VPC) 6.0 and 7.0? I am quite interested whether networking (access to the Internet) is gone under Tiger?
Also, three more to the list:
Canon Scanner Drivers
Alchemy TV
Endnote

The traditional labels implementation in Labels X is much better than the colored marquee Apple has gone for.

Care to elaborate? Some of them are just fun customizations, sure, but haxies are much more powerful than that.
Without a haxie, Audio Hijack Pro would need to restart applications before hijacking audio -- now that would be truly miserable.

Their site hardly says nothing. If you just point yourself to http://www.unsanity.com/ ...right there, with no extra navigation needed:
The ship date for Tiger has been announced. We plan to offer free updates to our products for Tiger compatibility shortly after its release.

Same thing they said when 10.3 was coming out. They still took ages but at least they had a forum back then.

Thanks very much for sharing that, Charles. I was concerned that DW 3.0.2 might be getting long in the tooth: one year ago today (Apr. 23) was the last update of DW. It's good to hear that it will work when launched from a CD.
When launched from the CD, how does it handle rebuilding a Tiger directory? As smoothly as with Panther?
For those of us who prefer to launch utilities such as DW when booted from a 2nd hard drive rather than undergo the slowness of CD booting, does DW play nice when Tiger is on both drives?
Respectfully, Norm

For those of us who do not have the whole Stuffit Standard 9 package, does Tiger install Stuffit Expander, as Panther did? If not, if one downloads Stuffit Expander 9.0.1 by itself, will that work OK with Tiger?
Respectfully, Norm

The HTTPMail plugin (v1.43) for Mail seems to break under Tiger. Does anyone else know of an alternative program that allows for checking Hotmail accounts under Mail?

Tiger breaks compatibility with the Alcatel SpeedTouch Usb adsl modem; apparently, looking at the console, it generates the same kind of error of the Cisco VPN driver (which is broken too).

Tiger broke my ATI Radeon 32mb video card in my Cube. I can see the gray screen and the start-up dialogue, then nothing but black. I'm going to try switching to VGA instead of the ADC -> DVI adapter, but I have to get a new cable for that. <sigh>

What about Maple 9.0.3? (If not, what about 9.5.2?)
They shouldn't break, but just curious.

DVD Cache doesn't seem to work properly, yet.
CocoaGestures works.
VoodooPad works.
VLC works if you grab one of the nightlies (SVN).
Not tried Photoshop CS 1, or any of the iLife apps (except iTunes).

I was planning on buying this card in the next couple of weeks, but I wanted to wait till Tiger came out to make sure it would work. Good to hear that there are no problems.
BTW, have you had problems in Tiger w/ Deep Sleeping your computer w/ this card installed?

Popcorn working fine here!
I am having trouble with iTunes, keeps freezing and beach-balling to death, can't restart it without a re-boot. :-(
Not sure what the 'common' problem is that it keeps doing this...

It recognizes my burner just fine

Split & Concat seems to break. It claims the AppleScript version is 1.1.0 and what it needs is 1.9.0.

Don't think anyone's mentioned StickyBrain, which is bust. Just gets stuck trying to open the database. (Possibly a conflict with new version of OpenBase?)
EDIT: StickyBrain 3.4.1 is now out - should be Tiger-compatible.

Received my copy Friday. Cloned my main partition (10.3.9) to another disk and upgraded it to Tiger. So far all seems to be smooth sailing.
My machine is a Rev A Dual G5 with 9800 Pro Mac Edition with 1.5gb of ram.
Boot time is a little faster than before at 45 seconds. After your first boot I suggest you let it sit a bit and let spotlight finish its indexing thing before doing any benchmarking.
So far Virtual PC 7 seems to be working fine. I've uninstalled/reinstalled virtual machine additions, run windows update, installed firfox and browsed, even benchmarked with SiSoft Sandra, all without a single crash.
Benchmarking with with Quake 3 reveals only a nominal (~3-4 fps) drop in framerate which I attribute to system overhead from dashboard and spotlight.
Anyone know how to disable these two processes?
