JBL Creature speakers (they sound incredible)
Virtual PC 6 with dos
DVI to ADC adapter
Griffin iCurve

All purchased on ADC student one time purchase

not sure if the 2nd monitor will go through (only supposed to be allowed one with the discount, will let you know if it is successful)

All items ship within 5 days, except for the PB and DVI to ADC adaptor

how quickly have people been recieving them lately?

You cannot believe the info on your web order page.
Apple does not keep the promised shipping time all the times.
I have ordered six times with ADC discount program.
None of them had arrived in time.
I feel sorry for you because you may wait for a lone time.
But I hope you get two displays.

one display is for another machine

and I have heard otherwise about waiting because of the ADC discount...hope that proves true

it says 3-5 weeks, I wonder if they have picked up production and are sending them out a a greater rate now. one can hope eh?

Congrats man!!!

I sure hope the dual monitors go through...and don't count on Apple's "On or Before" Dates...I would assume just about everything you ordered except the actual 17" PB will ship within 3-4 days at the max. IF they don't have to wait for your faxed in information to clear. Let us know if both displays ship out!

I assume this is only for the PowerBook, eh? Don't fret this early on...even in the midst of the huge backlog, mine was still shipped 5 days early, and now that more & more shipments are arriving daily, I wouldn't be surprised to see yours ship out a good 2 weeks or so early.

Don't be upset. I have been waiting two and a half months and should wait at least two weeks more. You are waiting only a month.

Whoa...that's horrendous!

How are you standing it?! Dang, the sad thing is you can't just cancel it because you'll never get that ADC Discount back. Ouch...if I had to wait 2.5 months, I would just wait for the next 17" PB model w/ updated specs. I feel for ya man...

I just say that Apple business sucks.

I don't like Apple but I like Mac because I have been involved in several Mac users groups. They makes my life happy. This is the only reason I don't give up Mac and have been waiting more than two months.

I don't care about ADC discount program because I can get any Apple product with a discount price. I know an Apple hardware engineer at Cupertino. If I have enoguh money he can help me get a new Mac later.

The reason I use my ADC hardware program is that I don't want to bug him so often to buy a new Mac for me. If I can buy 17" ppwerbook then other members of my Mac community can get a 17" powerbook with a discounted price.

Yeah I hear ya...the joy of owning a Mac would probably make me just bite the bullet and wait as well. I hope it ships out soon man, that wait hasta be killin'.

15" robot iMac w/ extra 512mb RAM & A/E card
19" ViewSonic VX900 LCD (for desktop G4/450)
512 mb RAM (for desktop G4/450)
A/E basestations for 2 existing desktop machines

With those 2 giant monitors you've got me beat, though. Good luck and have fun with your stuff!
