I have a
page on my website that contains both English and Japanese. This is not the only such page on my site, but it
is the only one that shows up as gibberish in Google. Look at
this page, the fifth result.
The title is all
mojibake'd, both in this listing and in the Google cache. I can't figure out why this is, though. The page shows up just fine when viewed regularly in the browser. It validates properly as XHTML1.1. I've tried using
iconv to convert the file from UTF-8 to other encodings and it doesn't complain about any bad characters or anything. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
