It's probably not my place, but I thought I might risk it. I hope the guys over there don't get mad...

I dropped by Alnora Design (http://www.alnora.carbonized.org) today and I really like the look and feel of the Forums. Albert Wu and the others, including 6000+ poster Cipher did a good job with it.

A forum for the mac-based web designer..Nice idea. You should all drop by and take a look...

Cipher, I caught your post here about not being able to use Cipher as your username even though this other Cipher doesn't post here anymore...I had a similar problem at Ars and wrote the webmaster and he killed the other Kosmo so I could have it, which was really nice of him to do...might be worth a try to ask MacNN to do the same..

Kosmoooooooooooooooo!

Hehe, thanks man
There are a fair few MacNN'ers over there now.

(Kosmo - nice work, hehe, covered OSX forum and the Lounge with a single post )

Yeah, I have thought about asking for Cipher, but... I sorta don't want it. LOL. I like Cipher13, and I'm soo used to that... it coincides with all my email addies etc... hehe

What's the URL?
http://www.alnora.carbonized.org

that URL doesn't really give me anything, just a page that says:

:: carbonized.org
:: registered 3.26.01

welcoming mac os x.
So? What's going on?

That part of the site is just temporary - it will be redone soon - the main bit at the moment is:
http://alnora.carbonized.org/cgi-bin.../ikonboard.cgi

Got it, thanks.

<edit>

Quite nice! Very, very clean design, but not boring, which is a nice but hard effect to accomplish. It's small, but all fora start somewhere.

Web guys should check it out.

I think the font that you guys used is a little too big and the theme is a little too red. Other than that, great job! I registered. On peak times, I'd rather be posting to Alnora rather than MacNN, since their connection gets sluggish.

It looks fine. If you're on your PC, set your font size to "Small" or "Medium" to match up with the mac, or else it will look HUGE.

The site is great. Really it is.

But carful, this topic might get locked, as it is advertising something that has nothing to do with the promotion of MacNN.

In your portfolio section I believe there's a typo or maybe not.

Is 'Buisness' a fancy way of saying "business" or is that a typo? since its in two spots I figured its something I am clueless about..hmmmm
B U I S N E S S...."maybe its like australian or something" ( my little brother)

Yes, we have some errors on the non-forum pages...

We are working on a complete site redesign.

Now back to work!
