I'm considering upgrading the hard drive in my iBook. If I'm going to go through such an ordeal, I might as well go all the way, so I'd like to get a 7200RPM drive. Hitachi's Travelstar line has a good reputation, so I'm looking for either the 80GB or 100GB version of the 7K100.

Does anyone have any experience with this drive? Also, how come I can't find anyone who actually has it in stock? It seems like they've all disappeared from the face of the earth.

Edit: Oops, they're just not released yet. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait.

Double edit: They are released, but they're mostly going to Dell for whatever reason, so there is a shortage. Guess I have to wait anyway. That's probably a good thing because they're damn expensive.
