He has smiled at least twice on BSG. I remember because it is so rare.

Caprica has been greenlighted and will air in 2010.

Also, there's a new website providing clues to the last 10 episodes--not sure if that means who the final cylon is or what.

If they haven't begun production where did those press shots and trailer come from? Did they already make the pilot?

Oh and it seems they have Ikea on other planets judging by that white vase:

I'd love to get my hands on those Galactica and Pegasus models that were used on the planning table in the briefing room...

For those of you that don't feel like waiting for the remaining webisodes, they are up on Amazon. Well, all the remaining episodes with the exception of 9, which seems odd.

Dammit, it seems as though episode 9 is significant. I wonder if it was purposely omitted as it gives something significant away.

Where the heck are Canadians supposed to watch them? Are they any good or are they like the ones between season 2 and 3?

IMO they're exactly like the previous batch. Nothing happens until the last one, there's some unnecessary exposition that doesn't affect anything else in the show, and the whole thing feels like one of those teaser trailers where the movie turns out to be about something different. It was enjoyable, if only because there hasn't been anything new on TV in the last 2 weeks.

Didn't notice 3 was missing as I had previously watched the first 4 or 5 on scifi.com. Three is available there, or at least it was this afternoon.

Captain Jack Harkness of Doctor Who/Torchwood is one of the best known ones, I'm trying to think... Ivonava in B5 was kinda bi as was Talia Winters... hence their confusing romance for an episode. Heck BSG even had that one character in RAZOR who was lesbian or bi. Who else...

It looks like the last Cylon will be reveled tonight. The screener sent to critics was sent minus the most important scene of the episode to prevent spoilers.
http://io9.com/5132716/sanitized-bat...les-up-critics

So any last minute guesses on who's the final Cylon? Felix seems kinda obvious at the moment, but I hope he's just been a red herring. I'm thinking it'll probably be Badger.

It's running 4 minutes long (to accommodate the additional scene) if anyone needs to manually set their DVRs.

While I've thought Zarek in the past, I think the final Cylon is Ellen Tigh.

I thought it would be Badger, but "Sine Qua Non" dissuaded me. I have two totally random, probably wrong guesses:

1. It's somebody we think is dead.

2. It's Zoe Greystone.

(I've avoided spoilers, so people who haven't probably think I look like an idiot. C'est la Galactica.)

I dunno, I still think it is Zak.

One thing that bothers me. Six said "the Final 5 are in your fleet. 3 said "there are 4 in the fleet". What gives?

the real question is where do they end up living in the end as earth is a no go. I'd say back to Kobol.

Assuming my theory is correct (which it probably isn't), that would point to Cally. She was there when Six said they were all in the fleet and jettisoned before Xena was resurrected.

I don't think it matters to me anymore *who* the Final Cylon is. No reveal is going to make me go " ... whoa ... ". Probably more like " ... huh, ok ... "

I'm much more interested in *what* the Final Cylon is, it's relationship to Head Six and Head Baltar and if it's the one who's been manipulating both camps.

Must be someone that was in the fleet at the time that the Six was talking that was not in the fleet when the Three said it. Is there anyone that left the fleet between the time they were talking?

BSG had one bi character in Razor? I think it takes two to be bi dude! The Sixes even make-out with eachother sometimes though don't they? So I guess not. Rocky Horror was definitely SciFi. (and I think C3PO was either gay or British).

Duh: I should've known that, being a Dr. Who/Torchwood fan, although I'd say Harkness is more bi or pansexual than anything else. Still, it's nice to see openly gay characters in mainstream sci fi.

I don't think a series is sci-fi just because it had an episode with a robot. Buffy was a magical fantasy series that occasionally had a few elements that were like sci-fi. The closest it got to sci-fi was the Initiative, and that was still mainly focused on demons and vampires rather than, y'know, science.

Yeah, but a lot of sci-fi doesn't have anything to do with science. The genre, as a whole, is more about being set in the future than about hard science. And, while obviously hard sci-fi is out there, it does not make up the majority of science fiction, and with good reason: most of it is downright awful.

I think you're probably right. It would fit with the whole "all this has happened before" schtick. Find Earth all bunged up, head back to Kobol, and somewhere down the line, the Lords of Kobol (cylon, human or a combination of the two) go out and found the colonies and the whole deal starts over again.

Lots of episodes had sci-fi themes, in fact the season you illustrated was chocked full of them.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118276/episodes#season-4

Sure, there aren't any space battles, or babes chained to 3 ton slugs (sadly), but it still qualifies as sci-fi.

That's why I've decided on Badger, even though I really hope it's not him. But he has proved to be a devious little frakker, and whomever orchestrated all this needs to be a rather brilliant strategist.

Lame. Episode was decent, but I am sorely disappointed in the big reveal. They did a nice job or making it look like Dee and then taking that in a totally unexpected direction.

I didn't think it was lame, but it did get a little overheated at the end. They could be setting up an ending in which the Cylons and humans have the choice to break the cycle.

I really liked the episode but am a bit disappointed the way and timing of the 5th. I saw that starbuck thing 7 months ago when I saw footage of her infront of the fire I assumed she found her crashed viper.
Anywho, I think her and Baltar are special in similar ways.

IN regards to the webisode, the Gay thing really caught me off guard in a good way, I don't understand why the 8 helped him though and didn't kill everyone at once.

She liked him. They were contrasting the two different psyches: she killed everyone except for them, in order to make the air last longer. The fact she was able to do that in a cold and calculating way contrasted with him wanting to save everybody.

Whoa the episode just started automatic torrent download, but I managed to stop it and delete it before I had wasted bandwidth on it.

Not when I have you guys to tell me all about what's going on. So, anything happen or just the usual nothing?
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.
