OK, so I'm trying to find a way to automatically reconnect my PPP connection when it drops, then login to a Hotline or Carracho server and download a batch of files..

can I do this with a script?

or better yet, maybe an app similar to IGetter, only compatable with the Hotline and Carracho protocols.

I also have a similar issue with MacSatellite:

The script/app would have to do these steps:

#1. Know when the PPP disconnects for any reason. #2. Quit MacSatellite, because it WILL NOT automatically reconnect to Audiogalaxy once the PPP connection breaks. #3. Establish PPP connection. #4. Relaunch MacSatellite..and send it to the background (aka "Hide" from the application menu.)

this would be very useful as I'm on dialup, and save much time and waiting..thanks muchly for any suggestions.
