I bought an InFocus X3 projector from MacConnection. No matter how I try I can not make it work with my MacBook (Intel). I have tried on both the OS X side as well as the Windows XP side. I have tried every configuration. I was on the phone with InFocus for an hour. When they had me hook up to my G4 desktop and it worked instantly, they told me my X3 worked perfectly...and wished me luck. No one at Apple could explain it to me.
Does anyone out there know why my MacBook would not work with the InFocus X3 projector?

Do your cables that you are using with your MacBook work with anything else? It might be the cables is what I am saying.

Good point...I just bought the cable (mini-dvd to vga) and this is the only time I have ever tried it. I did not have to use it when I hooked up to the desktop G4. Maybe that is the issue.
