Dang this Up To Date program. We are 2nd class citizens for not paying full price for the upgrade.

My order is STILL PROCESSING. I am sure it won't ship until tomorrow, and it will probably go the "el-cheapo" best way method...

I just have to keep telling myself "I saved $60, I saved $60"....

Mine was shipped yesterday, Wednesday and expecting it today but it it was held for this day! Maybe to be officially at my hand as the official release is tomorrow! Does anyone who have it today?

So, I ordered Tiger on April 13th. Here's the latest.

On the Tiger FAQ page, Apple states,

"If you place your order with us by April 26th, you will receive your software on April 29th..."

On my Order Summary Page the Est. Ship is: "On or before 04/28/2005"

At the left of the Order Summary Page, the shipping method is: "2 Day".

So if today is the 28th and the shipping method is 2-day, how will I get the order by tomorrow?

I called Apple customer service with that very question...

They apologize that I may not receive it until this weekend or perhaps Monday.

Why did we all pre-order this thing and allow Apple the use of our money for the last 2 weeks if we're not going to get the software on the 29th? We could have gone to a local retailer and bought it on the 29th.

Yeah, it's just some new software - not really life threatening, but I'd like the company to live up to their word. They may THINK different, but it seems they're acting just the same.

Mine shipped Wednesday and is on the truck for delivery Thursday. Sometimes it's really one-day shipping, and not two-day. Let's hope that's the case with you!

Mine was shipped last night from Cordova, TN at 9:30pm. When I went to bed at 3:30am it still was saying "Prparing Shipment." It wasn't until this morning that it said that it had shipped. I still haven't gotten an email from Apple. It says it will arrive tomorrow by 4:30pm, like most everyone else.

Based on my and others' experience with their Tiger orders, Apple is apparently slow to update the order status, so don't take it at face value if yours says "Preparing Shipment".

TNT UK just called and asked if i'd be in to recieve a shipment tomorrow? YES! Tiger is coming on the 29th! Apple is living up to expectations, hopefully all other uk people will get theirs tomorrow too.

Maybe, but I can't see why they would come after pre-orders.
There could be the possiibility that Apple want to get all of the pre-orders out first as they've been paid for, and then the up-to-date cd/dvds out later as they're free.
Keep an eye on your mailbox and the status, I wonder whether any other people in Manchester are having problems?
I'm in Cambridgeshire, don't know whether that's near to a TNT depot?
Hopefully if it doesn't come tomorrow for you, it'll come on Saturday.
What are you planning to install it on? I'm using my Ibook (12" 1.2ghz, 512mb, AE)
I wonder what graphical features i'll miss?

ok guys, HANG IN THERE.

I spent all day yesterday refreshing and it was processing shipment all the way until I went to bed. I woke up to an email and fedex tracking. It shipped yesterday at 6:00 am so apple is behind on all of the order status. according to my tracking I will recieve it today

Mine still hasn't updated on FedEx. It left PA last night at 8:46pm. It takes all of 3-4 hours to get here, where the heck is the driver?

I just called Apple... they said that even though the order status page says two day shipping, and that it has not been shipped yet, it is getting shipped today and should be here tomorrow. I am a bit releived... even if I get it on saturday, should be pretty good. I just want to have it over the weekend to play with.

mine left cordova tn last night. its a 3 hour drive at most and mine isn't scheduled until tommorow at 4.30.

I just got a Canon Pixma Photo Printer and FedEx delivered a full day ahead of the estimated delivery date. So I was just hoping since Middletown isn't far it would arrive today.

Was looking at the Up-To-Date page on apple.com, and it doesn't say anything about the package arriving by Friday, only that it will ship when released. Looks like Tiger will arrive a few days later for the up-to-daters....

Funny... I just called Apple and they told me that it would ship "in the next 24 hours." So, no way in hell I'm going to have it delivered to my office tomorrow during business hours. :-\

Those of you who have tracking numbers while the Apple website says it's still "preparing shipment", how did you get them?

I'm sorely tempted to just go to my campus bookstore on Saturday, buy it there, and return the copy from Apple with a note telling them they've lost a customer.

I wouldn't have ordered it online if I'd've known they'd pull something like this.

finally! after refreshing the page for 24 hours i got back from classes this morning to see my order shipped. Im interested to see if i will get it early like some of you. I keep hearing loud noises that sound like a big Fed Ex truck, but it is just the wind. My mind is playing tricks on me

Thanks for confirming that, I guess I can stop refreshing my order status page every 10 minutes (at least, until tomorrow).
