There were rumors of an iPod dock on a different version of the Mac Mini.
Anyone think there's a chance of a future Mac Mini w/ no hard drive for like $399? BYOMHdKM. You just hook up your iPod sync(say an 80GB hdd in a few years) and it has everything you need. Unplug it and take it to work or school and you have your entire desktop, files, OS, and all the apps you might need.
Why carry an entire computer around when everything you might possibly need fits in your pocket?

Mac mini here in the UK is ?340. That's only ?10 more than my iPod
But never mind that, what we really need is more Mac mini threads.

ummm, call it my way of unofficially voting for the Mac mini to be added to the iMac & eMac forum. BUT, if people start installing these as car stereos(yes, it will fit where your cd player is), all bets are off. Who knows, maybe an iPod & Mac mini forum will be created to segregate less knowledgable users. Regardless, this seems a better fit than the lounge for all of these posts while we're all still excited and amazed or something.
