I just read this article at wired. Amazing thing that the guy built. One image has enough data to fill a DVD after scanning. I wonder what hardware/software they use for post processing, since Photoshop still has the 2 GB RAM limit, IIRC.
BTW, I should not have written digital camera in the title. When I posted, I was just comparing this resolution monster to current "high end" digital cameras. Sorry for the wrong title.
