I want to run BT on OSX but the command line version so I can control and monitor downloads remotely.

Which package from the official site do I get, how do I install it (not good at CLI need step by step dev tools installed), How do I run it, does it use a drop zone folder for dropping new torrents in (SFTP'ng them)?

Thanks

Get this package: http://www.bittorrent.com/dl/BitTorrent-4.3.5.tar.gz

And to run it, from the expanded directory:
Code:
python bittorrent-curses.py --minport [minport#] --max_upload_rate [maxuploadrate#] --bad_libc_workaround [torrentfile]
I use the curses version for more information and put each torrent in a screen session.

Bittornado is a Windows app, therefore you can't do that.

If you would like to install Bittorrent, see the previous post.

A good command line BitTorrent app for OS X is Transmission, though it's command line interface doesn't give you much control, or information.

Can't you just install a VNC server and use a regular bit torrent program?

Do you have the developer tools installed? That's the only thing I can think of that would explain your configure error, unless your $PATH is messed up somehow.
