I hate when that happens and know how you feel, l008com. We especially get lulled into not saving our work because of OS and application stability, but sometimes browsers die, or your post gets eaten by a forum bug or a timeout error. It happens. That's why I try to copy to clipboard at regular intervals (and I have PHTPasteboard to protect what I copy there).

I submitted and was no longer logged in when i hit submit. I wasn't typing for very long, surely less than an hour. Very annoying. It's a shame safari doesn't have some built in feature to save long text fields automatically, so if something like this happens, you can go into your text field history and recover data. Anyway, I reposted my problem. And it got no responses, but this thread is chugging right a long
