Where do you set the file sharing workgroup for smb

I've been looking for the place to specify the smb domain name in /etc/smb.conf but I can not find it.

Is there a new place in Leopard to do this?

You set it in Network Preferences-->Advanced in Leopard. However, its apparently a pretty buggy implementation at this point.
