Strange happening: I plugged in my iphone as usual to my Mac, and the sync process started. Then I noticed that it was copying each app over, one by one (all apps that are already installed on the phone) and it was going to take hours (I had to leave). I stopped the sync, unplugged, plugged in, and then started again, and iTunes got upset, saying I have to restore my phone (btw: the phone is working normally).

What in the world is happening? (restores are not part of my normal routine, am I going to lose any data?).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Chas
