At least I *think* this is a system question.

When I'm trying to tell an HP setup utility to open USB channel to device it gives the message that "Shared Memory Service is not yet set up." (Usual helpful alert )

This happens both on a Pismo ( 9.1 ) and on a TiDVI ( 9.2.2) now -- even though it gave no such messages last time I was trying to connect to this printer (couple months ago).

Can someone at least tell me if this is a system message -- before I try to raise HP tech support from the dead? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
