It'd be interesting to see a "cipher registered", "gorickey registered" etc and then "cipher hits 10,000 posts...""gorickey hits 10,000" etc... and look at who hit the milestone the fastest, maybe. Be nice to have other milestones (if the mods can even tell this stuff) like "xxxx registers as the 10,000 member" (are we at 10,000 members? 100,000?)

He retired? I believe mitchell_pgh proved beyond a reasonable doubt that was false and only a conspiracy with the help of Demonhood.

UGH!!! We all know gorickey NEVER got to 10,000. In fact, I'm almost positive there WAS NO gorickey!

I have the proof and right... [REMOVED BY DEMONHOOD settle down mitchell_pgh... we talked about this...]

I think the new timeline should be 2000px wide. Everyone here loves scrolling right.

Maybe you can include the downfall of the Lounge? Kind of when ankle_brains and John X. Smith were post-happy.

The NewsFactor Network partnership had to be the pinnacle. I remember everyone's reaction when they put Microsoft's stock quote on the front page.

EDIT: Here's some drama.

Luckily there was no long-term damage.

It had to do with all the personal questions he asked?
And since everyone here likes to talk about #1, they joined in to answer the likes of "How High do you cut your grass?"

It was all code, you know what I'm talking about here! He was a spy!

The Newsfactor thread is entertaining, but is a bit anti-climactic thanks to the NF guy closing it. I'd be interested to hear from one of the earlier vets what happened in the succeeding weeks. I don't think NF is involved with MacNN anymore is it?

Perhaps Demonhood or tooki can sit us all around the fire and tell us the story.

Bored enough to make a timeline graphic, not bored enough to put new stuff in it. There is a .psd file available to anyone with sufficient boredom.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

No, lack of being arsed to find out stuff to put in it when there is stuff already there. There is so much stuff that could go in the timeline, and all of this thread of people thinking what to put in one, why should I be the one to fill it in. The file is here, if you can fit all the stuff from this thread into it, go ahead butch .

It'll be much easier if you just comply.
