Thanks Driven.

I'm one of the directors of Positive Hype. We're pretty much the bitches of the top twenty London new media agencies - they get us in to work for their biggest clients and we sign ridiculous NDAs saying we can't post the work on our site or talk about it and then we watch them go and win awards for the work and take all the credit. It's awesome! [/sarcasm] But hey, the pay is... acceptable.

You know ... there still has to be a lot of personal pride from seeing your work be successful, even if your name isn't on it. I can think of worse things in life.

Anyway: Congrats on the great work, and the nice equipment to do it on. :-)

You are 100% right, but it does make it harder for us to expand our company when we can't show the work on our site. We want these brands to come to us directly because right now the agencies we work for take a huge cut from the budget, which is fine! It's their client after all. But that budget would otherwise simply give us more time to work on the projects and make them even better!

But ah well. We've got a few of our own clients and we'll grow slowly. Probably the best way anyway.

Cheers.

Here's mine. As you can tell I'm NOT a neat freak. ;-) Also thats a silicone keyboard cover that looks like a warped keyboard. Its just not laying flatly. I DO have a real black keyboard there underneath it though.

I'm sad because my MacBook is starting to develop the crack again. I had the topcase replaced last June on the last day of my warranty. Then a few months ago I noticed the crack on the left appearing again.. This time I put a piece of tape over the edge to keep it from breaking off which will hold it over until I replace it next year with a new Aluminum MacBook Pro 13".

But then the other day I noticed something unusual. In between my F and V keys is a strange divit. With a black scuff mark. As if something fell on the keyboard with a pointy edge and black paint. But I don't know what the heck could have done it. It's actually melted. Not broken, but melted. Both on the frame and the top edge of the V key. It's so unusual! I don't know when it happened! I also noticed a small chip out of the left side of the case too.

Don't mind the dirt inside.

I also spilled a small amount of blue Mt. Dew in the top left corner the other day. These new chicklet keyboards can take a real beating. It's amazing.

He's right. Just because it's a picture thread does not mean that users are welcome to post multi-gigabyte pictures. We still want pictures to NOT take forever to download. There are two pictures that the forum shrunk to 39% of their original size on Page 79, and that's way too big, because the whole picture still has to download before the forum can shrink it.

Those are some really interesting setups, folks. My MBP is never sitting in the same place long enough to call it a "setup," though. It's on a table at a Starbucks, on my dinner table, on my lap somewhere, etc... The only oddity I have with it is that I have a Targus "X" stand to put the keyboard at a more comfortable angle and provide a little space for air flow around it. No pictures right now, but that can change...

Thanks! The Drobo works very well. When the new Mini came out with FW800, it paired up great with the FW800 Drobo for making a home file server. I probably wouldn't use it for primary storage, but for media storage and archival, it's great.

Ok, I suppose a shot of my dungeon is in order. Sorry about the crappy wood paneling.

The Intel and PPC macs running harmoniously. I find them both quite useful.
The 40" Bravia is the external display for the MacBook Pro.
