I'm just wondering if it's possible to make it so that the iPhone's auto correct also includes words from a different language. Tagalog (Filipino) mainly. I text a lot of my relatives who speak Tagalog and it's hard to keep going back and editing what I just typed. Is it possible? Or do I have to turn AutoText off entirely? And if so, how would I do that? Thanks.

The direct answer to your question is no.

However,

The autocorrect "learns" as you correct it for correcting you. After some time of use, it will start auto correcting your words to words you've used previously. Itll probably be a PITA, but you could get it to "learn" all of the words you use in any language. Just keep going back and retyping those words, and if you use it frequently, it shouldnt be too long before it learns your vernacular and actually helps you write in Tagalog.

Actually: the AutoCorrect will be in whatever language the keyboard is set to.

If there's a tagalok keyboard you can switch to (even if it's still the qwerty layout), ios will correct in tagalok.

If youadd the Japanese ten key as an international keyboard you have an option to add words to the ios dictionary. Can't add them all i suppose but you could add the most common.
