I know it's another Windows notebook but here Acer partnered with the famous car company to make the first Ferrari branded notebook.
I wish Apple did a limited edition version of the Powerbook and gave it an Aston Martin logo and called it an Aston Martin Powerbook DB-X.

That's actually pretty sweet! Co-branding would be a good way to sell more products, but I'm afraid Aston-Martin would probably not make it worth it to Apple. Would it look cool? You bet! But I think Porsche would be a better choice, maybe not for "cool factor" but for sales numbers. C'mon, Apple! Get in the game!! Maybe a ruggedized 17" with Hummer detailing.

Looks nice. You could probably do a personal mod using these I found on the Mod forum:
http://www.macskinz.com/index.html
Just get a clear one and decorate to your heart's content. Maybe put you favorite car's emblem right in front of the glowing apple so that it glows or something.

That's alot of pampering for a Ferrai. I guess you need to really have money and time for one of those babies.

First off, anyone who knows anything about Ferrari reliability would never, ever purchase a Ferrari branded notebook.
Secondly... tacky!

About as kitsch as wearing the full ferrari gear (baseball cap AND fireman red jacket with all the logos) to go to Target or sumffin.
Great for BEFORE hitting puberty, but hey, don't ask me, I hate wearing logos.
IMHO you don't have to become free advertising for money munching companies to have a personality.

simplicity for me.
The best looking cars to me have the name of the car and emblem taken off, as well as shaved door handles, etc.
I think the slot drive is a great example of that for the powerbook.
The farrarri notebook reminds me of a mercedes bicycle I saw on cops once. They had flattened the tire and propped it against a wall at a gas station in a poor neighborhood. I don't need to say what happened... notebooks are already a prime target for theft (lightweight and expensive), do we really need to raise the "value" by adding the emblem?

So you want a 200-pound PowerBook that gets 45 seconds to the charge and costs $10,000?

Makes me think that alienware might be better suited for it.

Short of the 3 Point star the Current AlBook would seem to be something of a E55 AMG, no?
E55 AMG
Ok... maybe not.
