After having my new ibook now for a couple of weeks I am overall very happy with it. It was a nice speed jump for me (from the orginal blueberry clamshell) and the burner works well.

I really like the looks of it too and now prefer it to the silver top/ see through keys of my friends 700 mhz G3. (though I did not at first).

BUT!!!!!! This is the hardest freaking thing to keep clean of any electronics i have ever had. Even more so than my ipod. I am a clean person and wipe this thing down all the time and even then it still has little bits of "stuff"on it on a few keys.

ARRGH I guess the routine will no be to carry cleaning supplies in my laptop bag too.

Accept that things get dirty, scratched and broken. It gives them character

I don't think there is anything you can do other than use a gentle cleaning solution whenever it gets unbearable.
