hey guys thx for all your help but
the reason i was asking for the location of the resources was to make sure i had gotten all the resources correctly..it seems i did but i still can't solve my problem this :
the highlight/select from the spotlight menu is transparent even though NONE of my resources in themepark have any transparency...
anyone know why this could be the case?

ShapeShifter will need to do some voodoo to make that rollover selection work nicely, and it doesn't yet do it.

I don't know of any way to do so. It's probably being grabbed from one of the .strings files - take a look at /System/Library/CoreServices/Search.bundle/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/MDMenuStrings.strings - that's probably where it's coming from.
