An intel mac was released for developers, has anyone seen a picture of one or read the specifications?
Daniel.

Yes, there was a ThinkSecret Article about it, about 2 weeks after the Intel switch. Just look at their archives and you should be able to find it. Hope that helped

Great! Thanks. Has anyone done any benchmarks on these yet to see how the P4 performs running OSX?

Yes, there were articles about that too, but that info wasn't terribly useful as most of the benchmarking apps were running through Rosetta, since few if any apps had been ported to x86 at the time.

The dev box uses a standard G5 "cheese grater" case. Nothing new there. The inside is mostly empty, as the CPU and motherboard don't use up much of that space (and it doesn't have the elaborate 9-fan cooling system used by the G5).
