Just wondering what shows you people really enjoyed that were unfortunately canceled by some stupid pointy haird boss. Here's my personal list:
Firefly
The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
Odyssey 5
(I can't change the thread title. Suppose to be "shows.")

Buffy seasons 2 and 3. Why couldn't that show continue?
And I was one of the few who really liked Wonderfalls.

What kind of "hows" are we talking about?
Anywho, Futurama. Star Trek Enterprise deserved it.

Not the original. I heard they brought it back, but it wasn't nearly of the same caliber.

AFAIK the canned John K. because he was too slow to meet the production schedule.
R&S was more rearranged than canceled.

Enterprise was far too convoluted for its own good. Of course, since Voyager they've been trying to awe and outsmart the viewer and rather than just write solid stories.

At the time I kinda liked Earth 2.
Seaquest COULD have been something good but the writers kept changing the concept, remember when the sub got stranded on an alien planet on the season finale and over the summer they decided they didn't want to take that route so the next episode they put them right back on earth.

I never got past the first few episodes of Enterprise. As I understand things, though, it deserved to be cancelled way before Season 4 ever started, then stopped deserving it but by then it was too late.

Enterprise season 1 & 2 was absolutely horrid. Not just bad Star Trek, bad sci-fi. Season 3 was pretty good, much of Season 4 was good but only for hard core star trek fans as it answered much from the other series.
Another problem with it was the first 2 seasons didn't even have Star Trek in the title as they were trying to get a new crowd, after the show was tanking they put Star Trek back in and started writing it with Trekies in mind but it was way to late.

my girlfriend in middle school started a petition to keep "my so-called life" on mtv. this was before the internet had fully permeated into grade school.
hmm, wonder what if the internet could have saved that show.
i dare say that "hermans head" was cancelled a little too early. and that andy richter one too.

Firefly, most definitely! And Enterprise. Seasons 1 and 2 and parts of 3 were very good-better than most other series, and even some of season 4 was outstanding (like the last, two part episode with Peter Weller). THAT was great Star Trek and really good story telling. Unfortunately the show's creative staff stopped being able to move the stories in any intelligible direction-and most of the fan base blames Braga and Berman for that. Maybe.
But come on! A cool show with fabulous special effects and lots of action should LIVE! Both Firefly and Enterprise should have had long runs. I have to admit that there were NO bad moments in Firefly, while there were indeed more than a couple in Enterprise.

Have you watched BSG? Cuz it makes ALL of Star Trek look like Ass by the end of the first season.

Who's the Boss.
...kidding.
Seriously, though, Comedy Central really shafted Mystery Science Theater 3000. They tried to come back on the Sci Fi channel, but it just wasn't the same. If Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff had stuck around, I think the show might even still be going strong.

Reboot (not cancelled, but it's not coming back, and it's hasn't been concluded.)
Earth 2 (hadn't thought about it... it was a pretty cool show.)
As for MST3K, I never really thought it was the same after Joel left (And he didn't really leave, but I preferred him to Mike.)

"10-8"
http://abc.go.com/primetime/10-8/
From Spelling Television and the producer of Oz and Homicide: Life on the Streets, comes the one-hour drama, 10-8, an edgy, humorous take on the L.A. Sheriff department's rookies and their trainers, from the front lines to the patrol cars.
As a kid growing up in New York, Rico Amonte was always just one step ahead of the latest vendor or bodega owner he happened to be ripping off. After his early years as a street tough, Amonte was brought out to Los Angeles by his older brother, an LAPD detective in the Robbery/Homicide division.
Two years later, the 28-year-old Amonte is a graduate of the Los Angeles Sheriff's department and, as a deputy trainee, is now chasing the bad guys. A little older and, maybe in his own mind, a little wiser, Amonte's background doesn't give him any edge as far as his fellow sheriffs are concerned. In fact, it's a rite of passage for the trainees to be tested (read: hazed) by the training officers to separate those who are up to the task from those who may not make it through a shift alive.
But while the relationship between trainees and their training officers can be rough, these new partners must be immediate brothers and sisters-in-arms, protecting and backing each other up at any cost and in any situation. Their jurisdiction stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the San Bernardino Mountains, from suburban valleys to urban streets, from Bel Air to South Central. A day in the lives of these officers can range from peaceful to violent, from sexy to dangerous — and just about everything in between.
Amonte's New York street smarts and ex-thug toughness are no match for his training officer, Senior Deputy John Henry Barnes, a veteran policeman for whom law enforcement is a calling. It's up to Barnes to teach Amonte the ropes, with the patrol car as the classroom. But the pair's vastly different backgrounds give them completely different attitudes on how to work the streets, and while Amonte's irreverent style can get the job done, it's rarely in a way that Barnes would call police procedure.
Barnes, for his part, counts on his twenty-three years in the force and his authoritative demeanor and knowledge of the street. Raised in South Central, he looks at police work as a chance to to some good, having watched the '65 riots from his front porch and the '92 riots from his squad car.
Among the other training officers are Deputy Sheriff Matt Jablonski, who truly believes he's God's gift to women, comedy and the badge; and Deputy Sheriff Anna Valero, a tough-as-nails cop who could hold her own with any male — be it a police officer or a criminal. Jablonski is paired with trainee Gabriela Lopez, a young woman who carries ghetto baggage from her upbringing, which is what inspired her to become a police officer. Valero is partnered with Chase Williams, a scholarly-looking, borderline geek whose life goal is to be District Attorney — he joined the Sherrif's department to learn how to put people in jail before getting them convicted. Keeping a watchful eye on the sheriffs and the trainees is Captain Otis Briggs.
When Amonte and the other deputies begin their shifts, they call into dispatch — "10-8" — announcing that they and their squad cars are in-service and ready to respond to all calls.
