I have spots on either side of the trackpad from resting my palms there while i type. From the oils in my skin I guess, what I can use to remove them?

I wouldn't recommend that, you see its not for cleaning computers, its for cleaning floors and those wires are metal. you can get softer pads for buffing hardwood floors and stuff.

I think we all know what you mean by "palms" and "skin oils".
You should be ashamed of yourself. And you should always keep a box of kleenex on your desk.
