Ordered a little something from Overstock.com prior to Christmas and they said it would be there before the 23rd. It wasn't a Christmas gift so I didn't care, and when it showed up a few days after Christmas it wasn't a big deal, and I forgot all about it.
Then the other day I got an email from Overstock that said...
"We would like to offer our sincere apologies for the late delivery of your order. We understand this order may have included a gift for the holidays and we apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment we may have caused you. To compensate for our error and for your inconvenience, a full in-store credit has been issued for this item. This credit will automatically apply to your next purchase with Overstock.com when you log in to your online account.
Again, we apologize for the late delivery of your order. We appreciate your business and hope you will continue to shop with Overstock.com.
Sincerely,
Customer Care
Overstock.com"
I was very surprised since I forgot all about it, and I didn't register a complaint.
Nice to see a business take care of its customers.
