OmniWeb 4.1 does NO security checking! They are just finally beginning to implement some security checking in the 4.1.1 Sneaky Peeks.

It's really sad when a Microsoft product is more trustworthy.

Forgot to mention that their JavaScript capability sucks so bad that you probably won't be able to access your accounts anyways.

Unfortunately, I have to agree here.

Don't get me wrong, I'm an avid OmniWeb fan and use it all the time, but there are just some sites where it just doesn't work and online banking sites seem to be amongst that group (I've tried three different bank sites and none of them work in OmniWeb).

In my experience, any site that uses JavaScript to dynamically manipulate the page content is unlikely to work. Any page that uses included .js files (as opposed to having the javascript directly in the .html file) probably won't work, and many Java applets don't run.

So, by all means use OmniWeb, just keep a copy of IE around for those sites that OW doesn't handle.

Don't worry about keeping a copy of IE around. Just keep a copy of Mozilla around. Its a very secure browser, has more compliant JavaScript support than IE, and is remarkably stable. It also has a number of features that IE doesn't, such as the ability to block pop-up windows.
