About 3 weeks ago, my macbook started up to vertical lines. I fixed the problem by resetting the PRAM and then going into display preferences and changing the resolution. It seemed to have fixed the problem. But last night, I shut down my macbook and rebooted. It started up to the vertical lines.

I thought the PRAM reset and changing the display settings was a permanent fix for this issue. Could this be a hardware issue with the logic board on my Macbook (week 31)?

restart computer
hold down apple + shift + p+ r
listen for the chime to go off twice
let the computer load up
go to pereferences, go to displays
change the display to anything but 1280x 800
change it back
that should fix it
