Sorry, folks, we are having some backend database problems this morning. We are sorting it out right now. The icons will go up as soon as we get the rouble mended. I know it sucks, but we are doing our best to get it fixed as soon as we can...

Komisar where the hell are you, do you post while in class or what?

Hey I'd post as much as you if I didn't have to wait for a free and go to the computer lab.

LOL I know what you mean. I had to SLAP myself and tell myself, "They're ICONS, you moron, not the winning numbers for the PowerBall!" (But I still want them, and I want them NOW.) They go so-o-o-o nice with my Rev.2 Drives.

Hah, how about that. I never even checked the preview images. I was comparing it to other icon sets (like WOA and addind '2' to it). I got it now, lol.

The delay of the Rev.2 release at the 'factory is caused by our continuing database problems. Since everything at IF is built on a rather large co-ordinated system (and believe me, there is a lot to co-ordinate) and we have traffic in the area of 20,000-30,000 unique sessions per day, it's important to get it working right - especially given that fact that we are doing secure financial transactions on a daily basis. This has to take precedence over something like a freeware release, which is really something we do as a hobby.

Add in the fact that we have constant, ongoing client projects and deadlines like any other design studio, and we can quickly run out of time on a given day (I myself had two major project deadlines yesterday on top of a nasty springtime cold). I know the Greensboro and Laguna Beach staff are doing everything they can to get things sorted.

I know people were patiently waiting (and ironically the icons were finished and ready on time), but I'm sure one can appreciate how we have to prioritize tasks. I'm sorry we missed the release date, but it was an unrelated circumstance that caused it.

At any rate, the point seems moot, since folks here seem to have found a way to carry the icons out the "back door". No harm done, I suppose...

"I can't believe it, Jim. That girl's standing over there listening and you're telling him about our back doors?"
"Mister Potato Head! Mister Potato Head! Back doors are not secrets! "
"Yeah, but Jim, you're giving away all our best tricks!"
"They're not tricks."

The icons are so nice. A big thanks for making them Dave. I actually only have one thing to complain about, and that is that there seem to be no open/drop state on the generic folder icon. But that is no big deal.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Could have used some color to define what was what - at 16X and even
32X they look almost identical to each other. Reminds me of something
wackypixel would do - except IF does do some freeware.

Nice big - 'poor at a glance' with those smaller sizes.

Thanks Dave for another well-executed set, and especially for the 3G iPod icons! I can't wait for WOA 5! What was the release date for that set again?

Beautiful stuff!
